Lewis Kicks Off Nashville Notables at
BookManBookWoman
Dwight Lewis, popular columnist and editor for the Tennessean, will help BookManBookWoman kick off Nashville Notables on Thursday, February 2, at 6 p.m., a new monthly discussion bringing well-known Nashville leaders and book lovers together.
Our customers have asked us to organize a new and different book club discussion, said Saralee Terry Woods, president of the bookstore. This is going to be fun, as we are asking community leaders to discuss their favorite book.
Lewis, who also authored A Will to Win, will discuss Bus Ride to Justice: Changing the System by the System, the Life and Works of Fred Gray by Fred Gray.
Future Nashville Notable events will include author Carole Bucy on Thursday, March 1, and on Thursday April 5 at 6 p.m., author Christine Kreyling and her husband, Michael Kreyling, who is a Vanderbilt professor and author, will review their favorite books.
Free parking is provided for this event at Cornerstone Financial on Blakemore Avenue.
This author event is the next in a series of continuing free events sponsored by BookManBookWoman - Nashville's Bookstore.
